Custom Millwork & Design Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Lead Millwork Drafter to manage and oversee our drafting team and processes. The ideal candidate will convert designs into precise millwork shop drawings, working closely with our team of designers and drafting associates to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.

- Manage in-house and outsourced drafting teams.
- Oversee drafting schedules and ensure timely delivery of drawings.
- Manage the Fabrication Drawing process, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Handle client communication related to drafting, ensuring smooth interactions.
- Lead communication and handover meetings from Sales and Estimating to pre-construction, and from Drafting to Production teams.
- Create detailed millwork shop drawings using AutoCAD 2D.
- Prepare and review rough sketches, collaborating with the engineering team.
- Research materials, hardware, and other project-related components for accuracy.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; knowledge of AutoCAD 3D, Sketchup, or Cabinet Vision is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Blue Beam, and Adobe Pro.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience in millwork or construction industries.
- Proficient in Innergy is a plus
- Reliable, dependable, with a positive attitude and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Millwork Drafting (Required).
