Summary:
The Lead OCR (Optimal Customer Relationships) Analyst will partner with the OCR Analytics Manager to provide visibility and transparency into enterprise-wide performance and opportunities on key metrics such as primary bank relationships and referrals between internal partners throughout the Bank. This analyst will also help our segment leaders activate critical data to drive business results.
The individual that will fill this role will spend a great deal of their work time writing and enhancing code against our SQL databases to create the necessary datasets to fuel our team’s business intelligence (BI) solutions (primarily Tableau). In addition, they will become a go-to resource in the Bank for ad hoc data pulls and analysis related to investigations into trends of key performance metrics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Develops and maintains SQL code/data sources for dashboards and scorecards that provide actionable information to our internal partners
+ Provides ad hoc analytical support to regional and segment leadership
+ Works closely with segment-specific data partners throughout the Bank to ensure alignment on important data points such as the calculation of key metrics
+ Provides training to colleagues throughout the Bank on how to best utilize reports and tools
+ Coaches more junior analysts through project work and ad hoc analysis
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 7+ years of experience working with data
+ 5+ years of SQL programming (or any relational database programming language)
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Possesses an exceptional customer service mindset
+ Ability to model data for BI tools based on proof-of-concept sketches
+ Being a SQL coder that enjoys engaging with business partners at all levels of the Bank
+ Proactive at seeking opportunities for new projects that empower our internal partners
+ Ability to present to senior leadership and/or their teams both virtually and in-person
+ Experience with Tableau (or other data visualization tools)
