Lead Operator - Expert Staffing

Our client is seeking qualified Lead Operators to join their team in Millbury, MA.

Schedule: 3:00pm-11:00pm (Monday-Friday)

The Lead Operators are responsible for working on a variety of equipment as well as overseeing production line processes and workers.

Lead Operator Job Duties:

• Startup, operation, clean up and shut down of a variety of equipment
• Assigns tasks to other crew members to ensure timely completion of production runs.
• Uses ERP system as needed to verify settings and correct input materials are being utilized to produce material within specification.
• Operates hoist, fork truck, pallet jack and maintains daily inspections.
• Set ups and monitors materials during runs.
• Stages material through barcoding and maintains accurate inventories.
• Packages and labels materials per documentation requirements.

Skills and Requirements:

• 2+ years machine operator experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• Experience working with computers and ERP system to input and access data
• Math skills including accuracy in basic functions such as multiplication and division and in working with conversion factors.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Moving, bending, pushing and lifting capability up to 60 lbs
• Ability to pass Background check and drug screen
