About the role:
You will deliver quality care to a panel of patients as part of a multidisciplinary team of Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Medical Assistant in a virtual environment. You will oversee a team of APPs (NPs and PAs) delivering care to their patients and supporting them in Oscar strategic initiatives.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $210,560 - $276,360 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, annual vacation grant of up to 18 days per year and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct high quality, safe patient care via telemedicine (video, phone, messaging) while working with a multidisciplinary team
- Provide supervision to a group of APPs (NPs and PAs) who are delivering care in a virtual environment and provide professional & clinical growth
- Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed (APPs, RNs, MAs)
- Support development of clinical guidelines, continuous improvement of care model, and participate in collaborative projects with Operations and Product team members as a clinical leader
- Conduct quality assurance audits in addition to required state supervisory audit requirements
- Ensure a culture of patient safety
- Be accountable for the quality of care of your patients and ensure superior member experience
- Conduct service recovery needs for Oscar patients
- Provide growth and development of your team including management of poor performance
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- MD or DO from an ACGME accredited medical school
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds
- 5+ years of outpatient primary care experience
- Prior telehealth experience
- 1+ years experience in supervising teams, including other clinical staff
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in GA, TX, FL or IMLCC
- Experience in APP supervision
Bonus points:
- Spanish language fluency
- Experience being metrics driven in a practice setting as it relates to population health management, quality benchmarks, cost of care, and productivity
- Six sigma or programmatic management experience

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
