1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Your career matters to us because your passion and excitement will help keep our company moving forward. As the Lead Planner, you will oversee and support supplier delivery schedules. You will evaluate and update key material planning parameters to optimize inventory level and customer part availability.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- Create and revise department standard work instructions (SWIs)
- Train department personnel on SWIs
- Collaborate with Data Science to develop and implement Microsoft PowerBI reporting
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing
- Problem resolution and escalation management
- Special project management and/or support as required
- Support department in achieving KPI targets for inventory levels and order fill rates
- Research, develop, and implement methods of reducing costs, improving processes, and optimizing planning outputs
- Fill in for department manager as required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or equivalent work or military experience
- 4 years of experience with complex planning activities
- Experience as a team leader within a planning or supply chain organization
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- APICS Certification or willingness to earn certification
- Experience with SAP or equivalent MRP Systems
- German language a plus but not required
