YOUR SCHEDULE AS A LEAD PLUMBING EXCAVATION TECH

As our Lead Plumbing Excavation Tech, you'll report to the office each morning. Start times vary between 7 AM and 8 AM depending on training or meetings. While we aim for a 5 PM end time, our commitment to customer satisfaction means we work until the job is done. Enjoy a rotating on-call schedule every other week.

WHAT YOUR DAY TYPICALLY LOOKS LIKE

Start your day at our bustling office with a morning huddle, then gear up and head out to tackle excavation projects at customer homes. You operate heavy-duty equipment like excavators, hydro-vac and septic pump trucks, ensuring every job is done safely and efficiently. You also install and repair a variety of piping systems, mentor apprentices, and keep meticulous records.

You stay connected throughout the day via Google Chats and your EPHA email, responding to inquiries swiftly. With a friendly greeting for every customer, you deliver exceptional service while occasionally participating in fun events like golf outings and parades. Wrap up by keeping your equipment clean and organized for the next day's challenges.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• 3+ years of excavation experience with underground plumbing
• CDL license
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• CDL with tanker endorsement
• Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of an apprenticeship
• Knowledge of state regulations, including OSHA requirements
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
