SUMMARY
The Records Auditor Lead will oversee the auditing and management of aviation records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. This role will involve leading a team of auditors, conducting thorough audits, and developing strategies to enhance records accuracy and integrity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Audit Management: Lead and coordinate comprehensive audits of aviation records, including routine and non-routine maintenance, and compliance documents.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of records auditors, providing training and support to ensure high standards of performance.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure all records meet FAA regulations, company policies, and customer policies, identifying areas of non-compliance and recommending corrective actions.
Data Analysis: Analyze audit findings to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement, preparing detailed reports for senior management.
Process Improvement: Develop and implement processes and procedures to enhance records management and audit efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (e.g., maintenance, operations, quality assurance) to ensure effective communication and compliance with record-keeping practices.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of audit processes, findings, and corrective actions taken, ensuring records are easily accessible for future reference. Ensuring discrepancies are appropriately corrected.
Training and Development: Conduct training sessions on best practices in record-keeping and regulatory compliance for staff across the organization.
All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required. Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in standard English. Able to interface in a professional and pleasant manner with other AAR employees at all levels and with customers as required. Computer literacy, particularly in those software programs which are relevant to industrial engineering. EDUCATION and or EXPERIENCE Minimum of two years experience as a Records Auditor.
