We are seeking a Lead Remodeling Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, on-site client relations, supervision of laborers, coordination with subcontractors, and all phases of project execution from demolition to finish. This position offers opportunities for personal and professional advancement in the remodeling trade, with additional training and education provided.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and coordinating remodeling projects from start to finish.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and plans.
- Performing skilled carpentry work including framing, trim work, cabinetry installation, and more.
- Managing and mentoring a team of carpenters and laborers.
- Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborating with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Proficiently managing subcontractors, overseeing their tasks, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in residential remodeling.
- Background in framing, finish carpentry, drywall finishing, and general knowledge of specialized trade work.
- Ability to lay out projects off plans and specs, troubleshoot problems, and evaluate execution options.
- Ability to supervise a team of subcontractors and production workers.
- Proficiency in customer service satisfaction and effective communication.
- Reliable, organized, and mechanically inclined individual.
- Ability to train and mentor fellow carpenters.
- Comfortable with technology, mainly mobile devices.
- Willingness to work occasional overtime and possess reliable transportation.
- Capacity to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to manipulate objects of up to 80 lbs for 50 feet.
- Must provide a complete set of hand tools.
Salary and Benefits:
- Full Time
- Salary at $36.00 - $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
