Lead Retention Case Coordinator (Pro 3) - JEVS Human Services

Currently we have an exciting opportunity with our Work Ready program as a Lead Retention Case Coordinator. Work Ready provides a comprehensive set of employment-oriented services to those receiving Public Assistance benefits, including those who are in need of specific help managing barriers to self-sufficiency.

This role, located in our Center City Philadelphia office, offers flexibility and a hybrid environment, including 3 days each week on-site and 2 days remote.This position is full time, 35 hours per week.

Job duties for this position will include:

• Maintain a working knowledge of TANF and the PA Department of Public Welfare regulations.

• Ensure effective, accurate and coordinated communications with County Assistance Office liaison.
• Network and establish working relationships with appropriate personnel at Community Agencies, Mental Health and Drug and Alcohol Organizations and other agencies as needed.

• Prepare periodic written reports, both statistical and narrative. Complete case notes within a timely manner.

• Participate in unit meetings and division meetings on an ongoing basis.

• Discuss continued gainful employment with participants and relay information to placement counselors.

• Gather and submit employment verification of participants’ ongoing employment.

• Provide information about on the job challenges that may affect retention and employer relations and address them through collaboration with staff and/or participant.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Appropriate experience or special training may be substituted in lieu of Associates’ degree and 2 years of relevant experience

Program Consideration: Work Ready staff and or clients that do not have Associates must be currently enrolled in a degree program and have completed over half the required credits toward an associate degree for consideration. Documentation must be provided (official transcript)

• Ability to organize multiple tasks in a timely manner

• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and collaborate with a variety of customers in the Welfare to Work Industry.

• Proficient in MS Office applications (especially MS Word and Excel). Willingness to learn JEVS specific database.

• Willing to work a flexible schedule.

The base pay for this position ranges from $37,000 to $46,500 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
