About the Job
DutiesYou will provide direct security support, both technical and administrative, to the SWFPAC Deputy Director of Security, Security Officer and Commanding Officer.You will provide long-range focus, planning, development, and serves as a principal lead on establishment and management of emerging and existing classified programs and projectsYou will formulate security policies, develops technical and management plans, establishes general security procedures to be followed and makes decisions to security matters.You will manage the special projects activities of SWFPAC Security Department through coordination with supervisors and managers.You will make recommendations on security policy changes to streamline the security operation and advises on the impact of new policies and changed requirements and priorities.You will represent the SWFPAC Security Department at inter-agency meetings, conferences and workshops.You will advise on technical security problems and challenges and makes substantive recommendations for solutions.You will manage team activities (Such as integrated products teams), progress, and scheduling to ensure successful project performance.You will review actual vulnerability assessment and security program performance.You will formulate short and long-range budgetary requirements based on current and projected mission, personnel and individual/ physical security equipment requirements.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentMust be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing, Managing and executing lifecycle security programs for aerospace, nuclear weapons security, or Navy Ballistic Missiles programs to correct deficiencies and mitigate risks, ensuring missions requirements are met.
