Our leadership team is made up of passionate people who have a true connection to seniors and their families, and who are dedicated to helping others’ grow and thrive.Solera’s Core Values:CompassionCommitmentCommunicationCreativityListen…we flat out LOVE what we do and if our story resonates with you, and you want to LOVE what you do every day - we want to meet you!Overview & Responsibilities :Position Summary:- Leadership in the dining room by leading and guiding the dining team to demonstrate all 4 Core Values of Solera- Always exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization by being the prime example to other team members.- Responsible for opening and closing procedures are being met with high standards.- Responsible for making sure support is provided to team members.- Responsible in providing training support when needed for FOH team members.- Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.- Communication with kitchen staff and chef regarding any issue or dissatisfaction with meals/food.- Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.- Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.- Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service, and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.- Serve resident meals in a timely manner and reset tables for next meal.- Serve room trays as needed for meals.- Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization.Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.- Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards at all times.- Exemplify community standards of fully staffed, operational, and stocked dining room.- Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.- Knowledge in areas of serving, preparation and shift organization.- Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service, assist with dish washing.- Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.- Knowledge of diets provided and served correctly per policy and procedure.- The Community embraces a culture of hospitality. To that end, all employees are expected as a condition of employment to uphold our culture expectations in all interactions with residents, fellow employees, and guests.Qualifications :Qualifications:- Previous serving experience preferred but not required- Team Player- Reliable - Good communication skills (oral and written)- Excellent customer service skills- Required to receive the annual Flu vaccine, excluding religious or medical exemptions.
