Lead, Shopper Insights at a glance...
As a trusted Shopper Insights expert, you will play a pivotal role in our broader Insights & Analytics team! The Lead must demonstrate the ability to collaborate with key business leaders in our insights, category, and commercial teams. You must be experienced in engaging with multiple stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and in putting together research plans while also demonstrating the ability to combine shopper & marketplace trends with custom insights to produce actionable insights, which will lead to breakthrough strategies and stronger customer relationships.
To be quickly successful, proficiency and experience leveraging fundamental research methodologies, tools, and techniques is required along with deep empathy for human behavior (consumer or shopper). This role will report directly to the Head of Enterprise Shopper Insights, while working cross-functionally and supporting the KHC Business Units, Customer Development Organization, and Sales teams.

Execute & establish a research agenda. Leverage qualitative & quantitative research elements to bring insights to life with a focus on commercial impact.
Synthesize data, glean insights, and embed foundational shopper understanding throughout Customer Development Org and Sales teams to directly impact strategies for brands and retail activation.
Frame and re-frame business questions from collaborators and gain alignment to ensure the right questions are being addressed, and the answers are commercially actionable.
Elevate the impact of the Insights function on the business by democratizing shopper understanding and ensuring focus of research on commercial impact.
Establish and leverage strong partnerships with insights, analytics, culture and trends resources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to commercialize and democratize shopper learnings across the organization.

Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or other Masters degree preferred with a concentration in research, marketing, or quantitative analysis.
Minimum of 5-7 years consumer research experience with proven ability & expertise to execute primary research.
Agency side research experience is a Plus. Exposure to syndicated data and analytics highly preferred.
Skilled in the application of advanced research design, appropriate methodologies, and statistical applications.
Ability to frame the research questions to address the business issues at hand.
Ability to synthesize data (syndicated sources such as IRI/Numerator + shopper, customer & category trends) and put together a powerful visual story to convey key messages and the implications/actions for the business.
Augment with custom research (internal custom surveys or partnership with external research agencies) as needed. Understanding of research vendor landscape is ideal.
Project management skills to ensure execution of deliverables, including communication and alignment with key stakeholders at each stage of project.
Exceptional communicator (verbal and written) with proven story-telling skills.
Demonstrated analytical, influence & project management skills.
