Lead Software Engineer-Fullstack - GalaxE.Solutions

Lead Software Engineer- Fullstack needed by GalaxE.Solutions, LLC in Mendham Borough, NJ 07945 [This is a hybrid position. May work from home within commuting distance to office and/or worksite location. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States is required.] to design and develop web services and UI pages using UML Modeling, MVC Architecture and Object Oriented Programming. Gather requirements and collaborate with project stake holders. Define multiple approaches to business problems and implement technical solutions. Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, scalability of system architecture and ensure that the code is well aligned with the requirements. Conduct reviews and ensure that the functionality of the developed components meet the requirements. Participate in Agile meetings and translate application storyboard and use cases into functional applications and provide technical solutions. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate issues. Implement automated testing platforms using Junits / Mockito for Springboot and Jasmine tests for ReactJs. Implement Database solutions with any combination of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle and MongoDB. Build and deploy code using Dev Ops tools GIT and Jenkins. Deploy code in PCF or AWS cloud in different environments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field and must have 5 years of experience in design and development of applications using Java, Springboot, Hibernet, JPA, web-services, and REST; 5 years of experience in design and development of Responsive and Browser/OS compatible Web User Interfaces with any combination of HTML5, CSS3, DHTML, ReactJS, Angular and JavaScript; 2 years of experience in CI/CD using GIT Hub and Jenkins; 2 years of experience in writing Junit, JEST, or Jasmine Unit Test cases; and 1 year of experience with SQL and any combination of relational Databases. This is a hybrid position. May work from home within commuting distance to office and/or worksite location. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated worksites throughout the United States is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
• Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
• Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead.
• Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
