About the Job
As a Lead Solutions Analyst in Asset & Wealth Management, you will play a central role in driving the success of our technical program delivery. Your deep understanding of applications, platforms, and products will position you as a key bridge between product owners, business, operations, and software developers. Utilizing advanced analytical reasoning and technical fluency, you will translate complex business requirements into well-structured and technically feasible solutions. You will make data-informed decisions and provide strategic insights to support key business initiatives. As a technical subject matter expert, you'll navigate ambiguity, manage change effectively, and communicate compellingly with diverse stakeholder audiences to ensure the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.
Job responsibilities
- Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business and data flow requirements, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and technical feasibility
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to provide strategic guidance and innovative solutions for complex projects
- Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract insights from large, diverse datasets, driving data-informed decision-making and supporting key business initiatives
- Mentor and guide team members in the application of technical writing and analytical reasoning skills, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Working closely with the WEAVE Product Owner and Product Cabinet to set high level priorities
- Collaborating daily with our talented, globally distributed DevOps software engineers, other BAs on our team, and other teams to design and develop efficient technical solutions to complex business problems
- Helping us define and deliver our team's Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
- Support diverse stakeholders and persona types, including Business Group Governors, Business Group Owners, Application Teams, Controls Teams, Auditors, and regular employees in their use of WEAVE's user interface and its services
- Interview stakeholders to understand their as-is processes, expectations, wants and needs, and translate these into problems and solutions
- Create, analyze, and refining agile user stories in our product backlog (in Jira)
- Utilize and query WEAVE Database to generate reports
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and data application, including hands-on experience with major data visualization platforms
- Advanced knowledge of data analytics techniques, with experience in developing and interpreting models, diagrams, and data-driven insights
- Proven ability to apply technical fluency in current and relevant platforms, software tools, and technologies to drive innovative solutions
- Strong track record of leading through change, navigating ambiguous situations, and managing dependencies in complex projects
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills for analyzing and presenting data
- Confidence performing SQL database queries and updates
- Strong communication, negotiation, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work well within a team to achieve organizational goals
- Experience with agile frameworks, methodologies, and tools - e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira
- Expert proficiency with standard Business Analysis techniques and tools
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in a very large Banking or Financial services environment
- Experience writing Agile User Stories (JIRA) with (INVEST) criteria
- Awareness of industry-wide technology trends and Agile DevOps best practices
- Some experience with web-based Data Analytics tools
- Some experience with scripting languages such as Python
- Knowledge of best practices for Product Management
