Overview The ONE team is looking for a Strategic Supplier Manager to drive value and sustainability forward with our key strategic vendors by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset with good relationship management in order to drive the most value and resilience out of the most strategic and critical suppliers for ONE. Role In this relationship based, data driven role, you will: • Manage the most ciritical vendors in the supply base across ONE to reduce costs and risks • Implement sourcing strategies to streamline operations and improve value and supplier performances • Support the efforts across ONE to enable spend management, improve supplier performance and mitigates risk through analysis of various key operational data sources • Work with the Mastercard Sourcing team to drive the strategic sourcing process by analyzing spend, defining requirements, developing strategies, authoring RFx's and negotiating contracts • Support relationships with strategic suppliers and may own relationships with select suppliers • Provide in depth financial analysis of vendor offerings All About You The ideal candidate for this position should: • Successfully lead complex cross-functional projects or requirements development and process improvement efforts • Demonstrated success building relationships and delivering results on a key strategic initiative • Have a clear mission that focuses on driving value out of every aspect of the vendors interaction at Mastercard • Continually look at the market and competition to see what is happening • Go out of your way to get close to the customer inside of ONE in order to find out what their needs are and how a product or service can help • Look for complementary products or services that can also help the ONE customer • Be a strong, confident, and exacting writer and speaker, able to communicate your vision and roadmap effectively to a wide variety of stakeholders • Always drive the use of data to drive potential solutions to solve problems Corporate Security Responsibility Every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
