Lead Tax Analyst - Oxford Solutions, Inc

Full-time opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA for a Lead Tax Analyst. Hybrid work schedule in Pittsburgh, PA.

Our corporate clent is seeking an experienced Lead Tax Analyst to manage government-mandated tax filings and provisions for company and subsidiaries. This role involves ensuring timely tax filings, performing complex tax calculations, and maintaining detailed documentation. You will also be responsible for tax forecasting, managing audits, conducting tax research, and providing guidance to the team. Strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Manage tax filings and provisions for the company and subsidiaries.
• Ensure timely completion and accuracy of tax calculations and documentation.
• Handle tax provisions (GAAP & STAT) and related financial statement disclosures.
• Conduct tax research and provide recommendations to Tax Management.
• Manage federal, state, and local tax audits and examinations.
• Provide guidance and support to other Tax Staff and assist in tax planning and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (or 6+ years of related experience).
• Master's degree in business administration or taxation a plus
• CPA a plus
• 7+ years of experience in tax accounting, compliance, and planning.
• Expertise in tax accounting (ASC 740), compliance, and planning in a corporate or public accounting setting.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and as part of a team.
• Strategic thinker with proactive problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong business acumen and client-focused mindset.
