About the Job
The Lead Teacher at Children's Land is responsible for nurturing a vibrant and stimulating learning environment where two-year-old children can thrive. This role demands a dedicated individual who can craft engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences that cater to the unique developmental needs of the children. The Lead Teacher must have a comprehensive understanding of child development as itis essential to ensure the highest standards of childcare and education.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Develop and follow age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth.
• Monitor the children's developmental milestones and maintain detailed records of their progress.
• Facilitate a structured daily routine that includes playtime, learning activities, and rest periods.
• Always ensure the safety of the children by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic classroom environment to prevent the spread of germs and illnesses.
• Collaborate with parents to keep them informed about their child's development and any concerns.
• Work closely with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and cooperative working environment.
• Create and utilize educational materials to stimulate the children's senses and promote learning.
• Organize activities that encourage the children to explore their surroundings and develop their motor skills.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in early childhood education and care.
Qualifications:
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Previous experience working with two-year-olds or young children.
• Mandated Reporter certification
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Patience and a genuine love for working with young children.

• Strong observational and analytical skills.
• Creativity in developing educational materials and activities.
• Ability to manage time effectively and multitask.
• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education best practices.
Compensation and benefits:
• Health Insurance with Children's Land covering 25% of monthly premiums for full time employees
• Paid Leave: 40 hours of paid leave per 12-month period.
• Paid Vacation Days: 5 days per year after completing 1 year of employment, increasing by 2 days after 5 years
and by 3 days after 10 years.
• Holiday Pay: 6 annual national holidays observed and compensated.
• Compensation Review and Bonuses: annual assessments and pay increases following performance evaluations.
