As an Infant Teacher, you will play a key role in providing nurturing care and early education to infants, helping them reach critical developmental milestones. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced educator to create a warm and stimulating environment tailored to the needs of infants.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote infants#39; physical, emotional,
and cognitive development.
Monitor each infant’s developmental milestones and maintain detailed records of their
progress.
Create and follow a structured routine that includes feeding, playtime, and nap schedules.
Ensure the safety and well-being of each infant by adhering to all safety protocols and
guidelines.
Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized classroom environment to prevent the spread of
germs and illness.
Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s day, progress, and any concerns.
Work collaboratively with fellow staff to foster a supportive and cohesive work environment.
Utilize sensory-rich educational materials to engage and stimulate infants#39; curiosity and growth.
Organize activities that encourage exploration, motor skill development, and social interactions.
Stay informed about the latest practices in infant care and early childhood education.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early
childhood education.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
or a related field preferred.
Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting.
Mandated Reporter certification.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with infants.
Skills:
Strong observational and analytical skills for monitoring infant development.
Creativity in developing age-appropriate activities.
Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
Solid understanding of infant development and best practices in early childhood care.
