Eleven Recruiting is hiring for a Pneumatic Test Technician to join one our largest aerospace manufacturing clients sitting onsite in Simi Valley, CA. This role is responsible for conducting specialized pneumatic testing in accordance with industry standards and company procedures. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and reliability of testing processes, maintaining equipment, and supporting the production team to meet quality and safety objectives.
Job Core Responsibilities:
- Execute precise pneumatic tests on mechanical and electromechanical systems, ensuring they meet performance standards and safety regulations.
- Develop and follow test plans, documenting results accurately and preparing reports to support quality assurance.
- Regularly inspect and maintain testing equipment, identifying and addressing any malfunctions or calibration needs to ensure optimal performance.
- Work closely with the production team to integrate testing processes into the production cycle, providing feedback on product quality and performance.
- Ensure all testing procedures comply with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations, including proper handling of pressurized systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to pneumatic systems, applying technical knowledge to ensure consistent product quality.
- Analyze test data to identify trends and areas for improvement, contributing to the enhancement of testing methods and equipment.
- Assist in the precision assembly of products when necessary, ensuring components meet required specifications before and after testing.
- Perform inspections of products post-testing, verifying that all quality standards are met before final approval.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience running various tests in one of these areas: electrical, structural or pressure tests.
- Experience reading and understanding drawings and schematics.
- Experience utilizing pneumatic hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
- Able to setup tests from written instructions with little to no guidance.
- Operating high pressure test carts for pneumatic testing.
- Experience running tests with Labview.
- Proficient in conducting and analyzing pneumatic tests on mechanical and electromechanical systems.
- Strong ability to plan, schedule, and monitor testing activities within the production cycle.
