Lead Trimble Operator- Omaha NE - Interstates, Inc.

Interstate is seeking at Lead Trimble Operator in our Omaha Nebraska office. The Lead Trimble Operator is responsible for leading a team and setting the standards for layout and coordination for the accurate installation of electrical supports, equipment, sleeves, and inserts as needed to maintain progress and productivity on construction jobsites.

Additional Information: The pay range for this position is $76,800 - $96,000+ benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by the experience and education required, and level of responsibility. The range posted for this role represents a range that Interstates, in good faith, believes it is willing to pay at the time of this posting. The pay is determined by job related skills, training, education, and experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Lead a team of Trimble Technicians in the operation of Trimble equipment to produce accurate construction layouts 
• Develop standards and best practicesfor the operation and maintenance of Trimble equipment 
• Hold team accountable to best practices and safety standards while completing the work 
• Work alongside project leaders to coordinate layout and smooth project execution workflow 
• Coordinate with project leaders on electrical equipment by planning key activities to increase productivity  
• Provide recommendations on efficient ways to lay out a project or area by attending coordinationmeetings 
• Consult with the design staff to review project deliverables for accuracy and contract requirements 
• Perform quality checks during the installation process 
• Install hanger inserts, block outs, sleeves, or other project markers 
• Regularly communicate progress updates to onsite leadership 
• Provide technical support to onsite and offsite project leadership 
• Safely complete the tasks above with a high level of accuracy in various working conditions 
• Properly maintainand care for Trimble unit and associated equipment 
• Record keeping and documentation of calibration records  
• Work alongside project leaders to maintain and grow the revenue and backlog of this program  

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Work within software packages to produce or update documents, spreadsheets, databases, email, and other information secondary to deliverables 
• Complete design progress updates in Revit

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  High school diploma required and 5-8 years’ experience using Trimble. 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: This position is part of our Omaha team and daily travel to the job-site will be required. Future project opportunities may require additional travel and/or relocation.
