Learn more about the Caterpillar Experience (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvCYWtWARlk&list=PLwAXbfivFg0jmiNqqgFLeQJpRB\_i-UVln&index=25) . **Job Summary** + The role of the **Leader EHS** is to provide leadership, mentoring and direction to hourly, salaried and management personnel engaged in Environmental, Health, and/or Safety (EHS) activities related to a small facility or one discipline at a medium to large facility. **Additional Info** : + This role is located in Spokane, WA and does offer relocation + This role is 1st shift + This role is 100% on-site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules + This role requires up to 5% domestic travel **What You Will Do:** + Identifies common safety/health/environmental hazards inherent in the organization's operations and establishes guidelines for protection from those hazards. + Ensures EHS training is completed to comply with regulatory requirements or in support of facility, division, or enterprise objectives. + Audits safety/health/environmental programs for compliance with company standards, government regulations, and adequacy relative to local conditions. + Monitors periodic performance reports for trends and conditions and alerts line management to problems. **What You Have (Required Skills):** + **Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Policy Compliance** : Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies; ability to implement EHS policies to ensure that provided products and services are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with legal requirements and standards. + **Managing Multiple Priorities** : Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. + **Influencing** : Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization. + **Effective Communications** : Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. **What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):** + CSP (Certified Safety Professional) + Completed OSHA 30-40 hour course **What You Will Get:** + In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a 500,000sqft facility supporting customers and dealers in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada! The Spokane facility opened in 2012 and is home to 220 employees. The facility operates 24/7 for inbound, outbound, and supplier processing operations. **Summary Pay Range:** $87,480.00 - $131,280.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
