About the Job
The "Learn to Skate" Program Coordinator is responsible to organize, lead, and manage the Learn to Skate program at the Crossover venue in Cedar Park, TX. Responsabilities include class structure, staffing, program promotion, and growth initiatives.
This role will pay between $18.00 TO $22.00 per hour

Responsibilities:- Organize, sustain, and grow one of the fastest growing Learn to Skate programs.
- Coordinate, supervise, and expand community outreach for Learn to Skate
- Recruit, train, and manage professional staffing for Learn to Skate program and school and youth groups skating
- Serve as on-site manager for Learn to Skate sessions
- Administration of Learn to Skate Program participant information and reporting
- Develop and coordinate initiatives and communicate effectively with coaches and local clubs in the promotion of figure skating at all levels
- Promote, coordinate, and manage figure skating-related events and activities, including practice ice schedule, ice shows, competitions, test sessions and Sports Camps.
- Work and communicate effectively with colleagues in ice hockey, speedskating, marketing, and facility services to support the Center’s mission and role in the community
- Other duties and responsabilities as assigned.
- At least 1-2 years of prior experience and/or extensive ice skating background and understanding of the Learn to Skate USA program
- Strong interpersonal, customer relations skills
- Experience working in and managing program operations for skating instruction, including recruitment, training, and coordination of professional staff
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Enthusiasm for teaching people of all ages to skate and promoting the lifelong benefits and joy of ice skating
