Full Time (Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM)
LOCATION
The L&D Training Specialist will be responsible for assisting with assessing needs for training, developing outlines, facilitator guides, and participant materials, and facilitating both in-person and virtual training(s) as supported by Learning and Development. This role will develop training programs, facilitate change management initiatives, and review current development programs to ensure linkage to company goals. Builds human capital through employee development programs. Measures employee performance to gauge program success and identify improvement areas. Implements and reports on the effectiveness of leadership development, team development, and organizational communication programs and practices.
Responsibilities
• Manage the upskilling Clerical and Non-Certified Medical Assistants (including certifications) and assist the Training Manager with other Career Development Programs
• Collaborate with managers, and determine the gap in training needs while enhancing the training and assessing trainees' skills through interaction, formal testing, etc.
• Coordinate regional ACLS/BLS certification training dates while working with vendor and practice leadership.
• Coordinates and performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.
• Delivers group and individual instruction and training, throughout assigned areas.
• Develop additional training and reference materials, including course outlines, presentations, eLearning content, and assessments.

• Ensure training aligns with organizational goals and values and evaluate ongoing programs to ensure accuracy and current relevance.
• Formulates training outlines and determines instructional methods utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, meetings, and workshops.
• Identify low performers and communicate with management.
• Keeping current with best practice training and development techniques and strategies
• Proficiency in designing, developing, and facilitating training is essential.
• Responsible for assuring compliance regarding current federal, state, and local laws, contracts, accreditation standards, and policies and procedures.
• Support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the learning programs platform
• Adheres to company Standards of Behavior and CARES core values.
• Assist in designing and developing training interventions and materials
• Build and maintain relationships with participants.
• Champions Upskilling, and other programs
• Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's in business, Education, learning healthcare, human resources, or technology or a related field required or working experience equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant.
• 3+ years of experience in a medical office/setting.
• 2+ years of experience in Learning and Development, training, and/or organizational design.
• 2+ years of experience in project management, including planning, execution, and evaluation is beneficial.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
