Responsibilities:
- Oversee Daily Operations: Ensure the seamless running of the Learning Resource Center every day.
- Welcome and Engage: Greet each student with enthusiasm and provide personalized support during their visits.
- Report Insights: Communicate individual and emerging issues to management for prompt resolution.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all Learning Resource Center equipment is functioning optimally.
- Track Usage: Maintain accurate records of student attendance and resource utilization.
- Flexibility in Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the center’s mission.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED
- Experience: 2-5 years of industry experience or completed education in Aviation, Welding, HVAC, or Robotics. In addition, being eligible to obtain an FAA A&P certificate or experience with trade programs offered at UTI Canton.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with students and fellow staff effectively
- Patience and Empathy: A patient and empathetic approach to tutoring on various subjects including Automotive, Aviation, and Welding.
- Tech Savvy Expert: exceptional computer and online application skills to the forefront as you assist with check-ins and tech support.
