The Lease Servicing Specialist I performs closing activities for lease transactions. Responsible for task prioritization, quality assurance, processing/filing documents, and other administration tasks as assigned. Works in a team environment and collaborates with lease operations, asset management, credit, accounts payable and tax associates to ensure that lease origination commitments are fulfilled. Provides periodic status to Lease Operations leadership and other internal departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Completes back office/post-closing document processing including insurance, original lease documents, vehicle titles, and other lease related documents.
- Completes transactional process to meet internal, partner, and customer commitments.
- Backs up other team members. Performs processing activities for other teams in support of work load leveling.
- Performs quality assurance functions. Works with the Lease Operations team to ensure that high quality standards are achieved.
- Communicates status to Lease Operations team and leadership. Keeps supervisor informed of workload and process related issues.
- Actively engages with Lease Operations team contributing to fulfillment of overall partner and customer origination commitments and issue resolution.
- Performs duties as needed to ensure the Farm Credit Leasing office runs smoothly by meeting internal and external customer needs.
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma.
- One or more years of experience, preferably in the leasing/lending/banking industry; or appropriate combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or relevant discipline preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the Farm Credit System preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the leasing industry, leasing documentation, tax and closing requirements
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize scheduled work with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Excellent detail and customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of office software applications such as Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat.

Compensation Information
- Estimated Base Salary Range: $43,000 - $49,000
- Target short-term incentive opportunity: 3%
