Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours and show available units to potential tenants
- Assist prospective tenants with the application process and lease agreements
- Collect and review rental applications, verifying applicant information
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including inspections and key exchanges
- Respond to tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and tenant interactions in the property management system
- Advertise and market available units to attract potential tenants
- Conduct market research to stay informed about local rental rates and competition
- Stay up-to-date on fair housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities
- Proficient in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance requests and work orders
- Strong data entry skills for accurately inputting tenant information into the property management system
- Familiarity with legal administrative tasks related to leasing, such as drafting lease agreements and processing eviction notices
- Sales skills to effectively promote the property and upsell additional amenities or services
- Conflict management abilities to handle tenant disputes or difficult situations with professionalism and diplomacy
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to property leasing, such as LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) guidelines and fair housing regulations
