Dominion Management (DM) manages over 850 homes in The Greater Baltimore Area. We are looking for a vibrant candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit to join our team as a Leasing Coordinator Intern.
Applicants must be excellent communicators, highly organized, able to effectively prioritize and multi-task, and have superior customer service skills. Affordable housing experience is required. This position will report directly to our Property and Leasing Managers.

In This Role You Will:
- Assist leasing agents during property showings, helping to greet and provide basic information to prospective tenants.
- Answer basic inquiries from tenants and prospective tenants about available units, lease terms, and amenities.
- Help organize and file lease agreements and other paperwork, under supervision.
- Support tenant screening processes by organizing applications and assisting with basic data entry tasks.
- Learn to use leasing databases or software systems to update tenant information and lease records.
- Aid in organizing lease renewals and terminations by helping with paperwork and communication tasks.
- Provide basic administrative support such as filing documents or scheduling appointments.
- Learn about rental market trends through basic research tasks assigned by supervisors.
- Attend training sessions and seek guidance from supervisors to improve skills and knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with leasing agents and other team members, learning from their expertise and guidance.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Excel.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to the team.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be organized and able to multitask.
