The Leasing Manager will be responsible, underneath the supervision of the Property Manager, for marketing, leasing and pre-leasing of rental units. May supervise a team of leasing consultants.
Expectations:
Leasing Manager supervises a team of leasing consultants to ensure maximum occupancy of rental units at all times and a high renewal rate.
Responsible for coordinating promotions to increase number of residents.
Oversees completion of all necessary paperwork and ensures proper customer service.
Assist with budgeting and staffing responsibilities as needed.
Coordinate all aspects of the leasing process including, but not limited to: application processing, paperwork processing and computer input, pre-move-in apartment inspections, resident retention activities, and lease renewal process.
Perform a variety of other property-related tasks as needed.
Lead and direct the work of Leasing Agents/Consultants.
Requirements:
2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience within high volume administrative/production environments.
Capable of making day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department.
Thorough knowledge of leasing practices and policies within a student housing environment.
At least 3 years of previous experience as a leasing agent in the multi-family industry.
Must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Must have sufficient experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
This position reports to the Property Manager.
