Job Description: Leasing Manager
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Leasing/Office Manager to join our team at an Independent Senior Living Facility. As the Leasing/Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the leasing process, office administration tasks, and ensuring excellent customer service for our current tenants. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lease Management:
- Conduct tours of the senior living home for prospective residents, highlighting key features and amenities.
- Provide detailed information on available units, rental rates, lease terms, and application procedures.
- Process lease applications, conduct background checks, and verify references.
- Prepare lease agreements, ensure proper documentation, and oversee the signing process.
- Collect rent payments, security deposits, and any other applicable fees.
- Office Administration:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries.
- Manage resident inquiries, concerns, and requests, providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident files, records, and lease agreements.
- Prepare and distribute resident communications.
- Oversee the payment of bills and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in leasing, property management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with tenants and staff.
- Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, property management software).
- Knowledge of leasing laws, fair housing regulations, and other relevant industry practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
