Position Overview:
As a Leasing Office Administrative Assistant, you'll be the backbone of our leasing and management team, providing critical support in managing day-to-day operations, handling resident inquiries, and helping prospective tenants navigate the leasing process. Your role will be essential in ensuring smooth, friendly, and effective communication with all residents and future tenants.

- Base Salary: $65K-70K commensurate with experience

As a Leasing Office Administrative Assistant, you'll be the backbone of our leasing and management team, providing critical support in managing day-to-day operations, handling resident inquiries, and helping prospective tenants navigate the leasing process. Your role will be essential in ensuring smooth, friendly, and effective communication with all residents and future tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Relations: Serve as the main point of contact for residents, handling inquiries, processing requests, and promptly addressing complaints.
- Leasing Support: Assist in coordinating and managing the leasing process, including showing units, processing applications, and executing leases.
- Office Management: Maintain a well-organized office environment; handle administrative tasks, including filing, maintaining resident records, and processing payments.
- Communication: Serve as the liaison between residents and maintenance teams, ensuring timely service and follow-up on repair requests.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Accurately record and update resident information, occupancy status, and other relevant property data; generate reports as requested by management.
- Property Tours: Conduct property tours and open houses, demonstrating the benefits and features of the community to potential residents.
- Community Engagement: Assist with resident events, outreach efforts, and initiatives to foster community spirit and encourage lease renewals.
- Experience: 2 years in leasing, property management, or office administration, preferably in a high-volume or distressed property.
- Skills: Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills; attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Technology: Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Yardi experience is a plus
- Mindset: A solutions-focused, team-oriented approach with the resilience to handle high-demand situations effectively.
- Physical Requirements: Occasionally lifting and carrying objects such as packages or office supplies (typically up to 25–50 lbs). Must be able to walk the property and up/down stairs.
