Legal Administrative Assistant at Nagler Group

Our reputable law firm in Portland, ME, seeking a motivated Legal Assistant to join the team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a law firm or other professional services setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal team
Assist in drafting legal documents and correspondence
Maintain and organize legal files and documents
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Perform legal research as needed
Manage calendars, appointments, and deadlines

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Detail-oriented and proactive attitude
