Legal Administrative Assistant - Jettison

About the Job
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of legal-specific administrative support experience. Preferred candidates will have experience supporting a legal business practice focused on corporate transactional matters, mergers and acquisitions, business planning and taxation, trusts and estates, and/or trademarks.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence
· Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements
· Assist with billing processes by entering and managing time records
· Handle client communications, both written and verbal, with professionalism and confidentiality
· Manage electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring documents are accurately filed and easily accessible
· Conduct legal research and gather relevant information as needed
Qualifications
:
· Minimum of 2 years of legal-specific administrative support experience
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
· Typing speed of 75 wpm or higher
· Ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities
· Strong attention to detail
· Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
