We are looking for a talented, resourceful, and collaborative individual who is ready to join our corporate risk and compliance team.
The Legal Assistant will work with our in-house corporate counsel to manage contracts, coordinate professional licenses and registrations, oversee policies, and assist with Company record keeping.
A successful candidate will combine a knowledge of legal concepts with great organization, attention to detail, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be skilled at conducting research, synthesizing information, and developing recommendations. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be challenged, contribute to Company performance, and grow professionally.

Essential Functions – What You Will Do

- Process professional license applications and manage internal records.
- Assist with the renewal of Company registrations for state and other government entities.
- Research and draft new policies and oversee the review of current policies to remain in compliance.
- Coordinate stock purchases and redemptions and manage shareholder records.
- Maintain corporate records and a calendar of important dates.
- Support compliance/risk-related projects for both our technical, client-facing colleagues and internal departments to preserve value and support growth of the firm.

Competencies – What We Are Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a professional services firm; work in a law firm or similar legal setting a plus.
- Self-motivated individual who works well independently and embraces a collaborative work culture in support of the greater good.
- Works with professionalism and discretion in the execution of tasks and the management of confidential information.
- Strong project and time management skills combined with the flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities.
- Great communication skills – listening, clarifying, responding, updating, and following through.
- Resourceful, curious, and willing to learn.

Position Type – What You Should Know
- Full-time, hybrid position with core in-office days.
- Located in Bedford, NH.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Must reside in the United States.
