**Work Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

**Overview:**

We are seeking a **Legal Assistant** to join our fast-paced and dynamic law firm. This position supports our attorneys in the commercial litigation, entertainment, and sports law practice areas. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple administrative tasks in a professional legal environment. **This is not a paralegal position**—the role focuses on legal administrative support rather than substantive legal work.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide general administrative support to attorneys and legal teams.
- Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence, and memos.
- Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, court appearances, and deadlines.
- Coordinate and arrange travel, accommodations, and conferences for attorneys.
- File legal documents with courts (both electronically and manually).
- Organize and maintain physical and digital case files and ensure all documents are accurately filed.
- Screen and route phone calls, emails, and other communications.
- Assist with billing and time entry processes.
- Perform clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing.
- Liaise with clients to schedule meetings, gather information, and manage communication.

**Qualifications:**

- 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant or in a similar administrative role (law firm experience preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software (experience with case management systems is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
