Legal Assistant

The legal assistant will play a pivotal role in keeping the office functioning efficiently, from filing regulatory documents to maintaining complete and accurate files. This person will build collaborative working relationships with our lawyers and our business partners. The ideal candidate is organized, diligent, and can work both independently and as part of a team.

This is a hybrid role based out of Moon Township, PA.

• Serve as the main point of contact within the organization for contract execution.
• Foster a collaborative environment within the organization.
• Represent the organization with professionalism and integrity when dealing with clients, regulators, and underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Track deadlines to ensure regulatory documents are filed in a timely manner.
• Management of all administrative responsibility for the Legal and Compliance departments.
• Management of all contracts utilizing contract management software.
• Proof-reading and comparison of contracts and other miscellaneous agreements.
• Drafting of correspondence and other documents on behalf of company counsel.
• Track company contracts through contract management software.
• Maintain all corporate governance records.

• Three or more years of experience related field
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage sensitive and confidential information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Experience working in a fast-paced legal environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Pennsylvania Notary License or achieved within three (3) months of hire

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Legal Assistant Certificate preferred but not required.
