About the Job
Join the dedicated team at the established and reputable law firm in New Hampshire known for providing high-quality legal services. This is a great opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented Legal Assistant with a minimum of one year of experience to support both attorneys and help manage day-to-day legal operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting and organizing legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court hearings.
Manage client communications professionally and sensitively.
Conduct basic legal research and maintain accurate records in our case management system.
Ensure timely filing and service of documents in compliance with court deadlines.
Handle general administrative tasks such as answering calls, managing mail, and maintaining filing systems.
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in a legal assistant or similar role, preferably in a law firm setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal software is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
