Position: Legal Assistant with 5-10 Years of Litigation Defense Experience

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support multiple attorneys in various aspects of litigation defense.
• Handle cases from pre-suit through trial, including court procedures and e-filing in multiple counties.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of legal documents and correspondence.
• Manage calendars and timekeeping.
• Provide a professional interface with clients, counsel, and courts.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of litigation defense experience, with all or some experience in medical malpractice defense.
• Ability to handle cases from pre-suit through trial.
• Experience with court procedures and e-filing in multiple counties.
• Highly organized and proficient in MS Office products.
• Excellent grammar and communication skills.
• Self-starter and independent worker with the ability to navigate court administrative agencies and opposing counsel effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical malpractice defense experience.
