Job Details
Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating court appearances.
Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery.
Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation.
Maintain client files, both physical and electronic, ensuring confidentiality and organization.
Assist with trial preparation, including gathering documents, preparing exhibits, and coordinating witnesses.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in a litigation setting.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (NetDocs a plus).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with court procedures and legal terminology.
