Mission Recruiting is seeking a Civil Litigation Legal Assistant for a national law firm's San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will support the firm's complex civil litigation practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation
• Conduct legal research and writing
• Coordinate complex motion practice filings
• Perform cite and fact checking
• File and serve documents
• Communicate with co-counsel, opposing counsel, and clients

Requirements

• Some experience in complex civil litigation
• Proficiency with e-discovery database tools
• Knowledge of Bluebook rules and California Style Manual (preferred)
• Research, writing, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork skills
