Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate & Conquer: Work with various departments across the firm to seamlessly manage case openings, billing, and records—your organizational skills will shine here.
- Draft Like a Pro: Create, proofread, and perfect legal documents that stand up in court, ensuring every detail is spot on.
- Financial Wizardry: Keep track of expenses, process reimbursements, and assist with client billing—because every dollar counts.
- Be the Courtroom Conductor: Schedule hearings and appointments with impeccable timing, ensuring deadlines are never missed.
- Organize with Ease: Maintain flawless electronic and paper case files, keeping everything at your fingertips.
- Communication Maven: Handle all correspondence and calls with professionalism and efficiency, becoming a trusted point of contact for clients and colleagues alike.
- Event Coordinator Extraordinaire: Take the lead in planning and coordinating attorney business development events, making sure everything runs smoothly.
Education and Experience:
- Bring at least five years of law firm experience as a litigation legal assistant, especially in state court cases.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and keep things moving in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
Skills and Knowledge:
- A multitasking maestro with an eye for detail and a knack for getting things done right the first time.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, that build strong relationships and foster teamwork.
- Tech-savvy with a deep understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and law firm software—bonus points if you know FileSite, CMS, SmartTime, and Aderant.
- A customer service superstar with a passion for exceeding client expectations.
Additional Information:
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. Expect occasional overtime when the action heats up!
