Legal Assistant - Personal Injury - Orion Placement

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at the Delray Beach, FL office.

Job Description

• Handle incoming calls, including new case intake and client inquiries
• Transfer calls and emails to the appropriate departments
• Prepare and send new client packages, letters of representation, and medical records requests
• Assist with client file management and closing out files
• Send settlement checks to clients and payments to medical providers
• Provide general administrative support to attorneys
• Maintain organized case files and follow up on outstanding documentation
• Perform receptionist duties, greeting clients and ensuring smooth office operations

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a legal assistant or receptionist role
• Prior experience in personal injury law required
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required
