SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under direct supervision, provides a wide variety of legal work in support of a group of legal assistants/attorneys including preparing, checking, and processing legal forms, documents, and related material, locating and abstracting information from legal files and records, and gathering and organizing relevant material for use in legal proceedings; and performs related duties.
Description of Duties:
- Preparation of legal documents such as pleadings, motions, hearing notices, and any other necessary legal documentation to be reviewed by the attorney.
- Responding to and/or initiating communications with clients
- Updating servicer processing systems
- Adhering to legislative, investor, and client driven foreclosure timelines
- Answering phone calls
Experience and Skills:
- 1+ years’ experience handling Texas Home Equity Foreclosure and/or Arkansas judicial foreclosure processes and associated documents
- Processing knowledge of various servicer foreclosure processing systems (BKFS, Tempo, Vendorscape, etc.) encouraged, but not required
- Ability to rapidly adapt to change
- Succeeds in working in a fast-paced, high volume, team environment
- Willingness to cooperate and work collaboratively to accomplish objectives
- Timeline management
Work Schedule: The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Salary Range: $22-28
