Legal Billing Specialist - Gpac

I am currently working with a law firm that is seeking a Billing Specialist. This is a great position for someone with strong organization skills, a bookkeeping background and prior billing experience. 

Background:

• Performs monthly billing activities, reporting, and direct contact with insurance companies and clients
• Ensures timeliness, accuracy, and acceptance of invoices. Follow up with billers, insurance companies and clients to resolve billing issues and ensure invoices are approved and billed
• Maintain electronic billing files and time & billing software
• Understanding of general accounting principles as they apply to Billings and A/R
• Prior law firm experience is required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
