Job Summary:
At Huisong, we are looking for a motivated, diligent, and qualified Legal Counsel to join our global team! To provide legal advice to individuals and organizations, as well as counsel on various legal matters, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Legal counsel will draft and manage legal documents, oversee all legal aspects of our business, and offer guidance and advice to management.
Job Description:
- Draft and review legal contracts, documents, patents and trademarks
- Negotiate settlement agreements/terms
- Offer legal guidance and advice to the company, and clarify legal language, ensure our company meets legal compliance standards
- Review business and tax strategies to identify potential risk (or opportunity)
- Oversee all general legal operations, guide management through litigation processes when required
- Handle labor and employment-related disputes, including but not limited to employee grievances, compliance with federal and state labor laws, and defense in employment litigation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in Pharmaceuticals, F&B industry law or regulation, drafting legal documents
- Well-versed in legal terminology and operations
- Strong understanding of corporate law and legal defense strategies
- Knowledge of current legislation practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of external or in-house legal experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Master’s degree from a top-tier school desired
- American Bar Association membership in good standing
- State attorney license
- Proficient in MS Office
- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations
