Legal Inter (Part-Time) - Relyant Global

RELYANT Global, LLC is looking for a part-time Legal Intern. The role will be 8-10 hours per week, in office. Position is great for students in law school or with a paralegal background. School schedules will be accommodated. The Legal Intern will support all areas of Legal, Compliance, Contracts, and Human Resources through administrative functions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with, and take direction from, the Chief Legal Officer, the Director of Human Resources, and members of the Contracts Department.
• Respond to Defense Base Act (DBA) foreign injury/illness claims.
• Research personnel records and prepare verification letters related to Special Immigration Visa (SIV) Program applications.
• Assist in the management of Government Contracts, including drafting correspondence, maintaining databases, and preparing various agreements.
• Complete research and/or special projects.
• Support various Compliance programs.
• Collect data, prepare reports, and draft and proofread documents

Skills and Qualifications

• Background in Paralegal studies or active law student, preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
• Impeccable attention to detail and analytical ability
• Stellar written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
