Legal and Operations Associate [4235]
Nonprofit legal organization seeks a temporary Legal and Operations Associate for approximately 3 months.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and edit legal documents, such as disclosures and affidavits.
- Perform legal research and prepare written analysis.
- Prepare correspondence and email content.
- Research prospective donors and assist with outreach efforts.
- Review evidence and case documentation.
- Maintain internal databases.
- Track relevant social media developments related to case work.
- Manage client files and maintain client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Exemplary judgement and problem-solving skills.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Requirements:
- Previous administrative and legal experience.
- Experience working in a law firm or political setting a plus.
- Will need to submit writing sample upon interview.
Rate: $20 per hour.
