Legal Administrative Assistant / Receptionist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our team in a dynamic Dallas law firm. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and legal staff, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Document Preparation: Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports to ensure accuracy.
- Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients, answering inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- File Management: Maintain organized and accurate physical and electronic files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Billing and Invoicing: Assist in the preparation and tracking of invoices, client billing, and expense reports.
- Office Management: Help maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Research Support: Conduct basic legal and factual research as directed by attorneys and assist in gathering information for cases.
- Filing Documents with courts and governmental agencies, sending mail, correspondence with court clerks and process servers, other light legal duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in an administrative role; legal experience preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
