Job Description:
The Recruiting & HR Coordinator will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruiting efforts and providing human resources support for attorney and staff hires. This role requires close collaboration with partners, senior staff, and admin teams, ensuring seamless coordination of recruiting activities and HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate virtual and in-person interviews for attorney and staff candidates.
- Track candidate status, manage interview feedback, and communicate with applicants throughout the process.
- Assist with new hire orientations and coordinate onboarding activities.
- Support recruiting events and provide onsite assistance for in-person attorney interviews.
- Ensure attorney compliance with Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements and assist with tracking certifications.
- Maintain and update the recruiting calendar, including candidate reimbursements and internal communications.
- Draft and send out offer letters, interview confirmations, and rejection notices.
- Collaborate with HR and admin teams on ad hoc projects and serve as a backup for local administrative needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting or human resources, ideally from a major law firm or top-tier boutique firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with viDesktop or similar HR software is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working independently while being collaborative across different teams and offices.
