Legal Secretary - HumanHire

HumanHire is partnered with a prestigious, Am Law Top 25 firm in search of a Legal Secretary for their office in Seattle, WA. This firm is consistently ranked amongst the Am Law Top 25 firms and has more than 1500 attorneys in offices around the world!

We are seeking candidates with 5+ years of experience supporting litigation attorneys/paralegals.

What we offer:

• Salary: $75,000-$100,000 per year
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5PM (2 days WFH!)

Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks and client service needs
• Prepare, file, and serve legal documents
• Handle State, Federal, and Appellate court filings and maintain understanding of court rules and calendaring needs
• Utilize legal research tools and court websites for research, case law, and forms
• Generate and troubleshoot legal documents
• Manage and update court filings and attorney calendars
• Handle other administrative tasks such as document management, timekeeping/time entry, billing/invoice processing, and other scheduling functions

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience supporting litigation attorneys/paralegals required
• Bachelor's degree highly preferred
• Ability to multitask in a highly demanding, deadline driven environment
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office with familiarity in various legal softwares
