POSITION SUMMARY:  This position maintains and sanitizes all areas of the Leisure Center.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  Include the following, but other duties may be assigned.

• Sanitizes and cleans the locker rooms, steam and sauna rooms, all areas in the Leisure Center including fitness areas, basketball court, bowling center and cinema room.
• Mops, vacuums and maintains all floor areas throughout the facility.
• Maintains all equipment used for cleaning.
• Helps with inventory for restocking of cleaning and paper products.
• Refills all soap and paper dispensers throughout the facility.
• Empties waste receptacles when needed.
• Maintains janitorial supply closets and work related areas.
• Attend scheduled training seminars and department meetings.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be taken.
